DAMN!!!!! Adele forced to cancel 10-city U.S. tour due to illness, Miami being one of them. I was looking forward to seeing her live plus I had floor seats.

Adele has been forced to cancel her upcoming 10-city, sold-out tour because of a hemorrhage on her vocal cord, representatives for the singer announced Tuesday.

The British soul diva had just completed a stint in the United Kingdom and was prepping to kick off an additional U.S. leg on Friday in Atlantic City, N.J., when she fell ill.

Adele was expected to play Miami, Orlando, Fla., Atlanta and Austin, Texas, during the short stint of shows that served as a makeup from a previously canceled trek due to illness. She was advised by doctors that she'd need an extended rest period to begin to recuperate properly.

“Singing is literally my life, its my hobbie, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever,” she wrote in a lengthy statement. “I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated and annoyed I am by this. Wanting to do something so bad and not being able to is the most frustrating thing as I’m sure you know!

"My voice is weak and I need to build it back up. I'm gonna be starting up vocal rehab as soon as, and start building my over all stamina in my voice, body and mind. I will be back and I’m gonna smash the ball out the park once I’m touring again. I apologise from the bottom of my heart, sincerely I do. I know it’s not only disappointing because of the show, but its plane tickets, hotel bookings, birthdays, anniversaries and time wasted. But please have faith in me that this is the only thing I can do to make sure I can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability. Truly yours and yours only forever, adele xx”

In June, Adele was forced to halt her largely sold-out tour after being stricken with laryngitis. She rescheduled the 14 dates that had to be canceled and added six more -- she played 10 dates in August. The singer made up her missed performance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Aug. 15 and her date at the Hollywood Palladium on Aug. 17.

Further details are expected to follow regarding the canceled dates. Refunds may be obtained at the point of purchase.
