It looks like fictional trillionaire Tony Stark has a new toy. Caught during the most recent filming of The Avengers, actor Robert Downey Jr. was seen getting into the Honda NSX Concept, or Acura NSX to those in North America. Set for launch in 2014, the new NSX is said to feature many technical advancements that debuted during the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. This includes a hybrid powerplant where a 3.5-liter V6 powers the rear wheels while electric motors drive the front, a schematic quite unique at the time. There is also a possibility Honda will include a plug-in system along with lithium-ion battery packs on the new super car. In the meantime, you can catch glimpse of the Honda NSX Concept in The Avengers movie summer of next year.
