Mac Miller Steps Out Of Label Mate Wiz Khalifa's Shadow. Makes History With Number 1 Debut Of Indie Released Album 'Blue Slide Park'

Rostrum Records now officially has two stars on it's roster.


Wiz Khalifa has been the face of the indie label, as well as the hip hop scene in Pittsburgh, but that has all changed now that Mac Miller has a No. 1 selling album under his belt.


The 19-year old's debut album Blue Slide Park sold 148,915 copies to become the first indie release since Tha Dogg Pound's 1995 album Dogg Food, to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
