We all know the UFC is the fastest growing sports organization in the world, but I could never have guessed just how much it’s worth…In leiu of the first big fight on Fox, UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta says, “I feel pretty comfortable saying we’re the most valuable sports franchise on the planet, more than Manchester United, more than the New York Yankees, more than the Dallas Cowboys.” Fertitta has every right to brag–When he purchased the UFC, he and his brother personally sank their own money into the fledgling organization.
