SF Chronicle – Raiders starting middle linebacker Rolando McClain has been arrested in his hometown of Decatur, Alabama, for allegedly assaulting an individual, holding a gun to his head and firing a shot next to his ear… The victim, whose name was not released, told police that he got into a fight with Jerradius Willingham Wednesday night. The victim told police who had responded to the call that he crawled to his car after the fight, and then McClain put a gun to his head while he was lying on the ground, police said. “The victim reported that he begged McClain not to shoot him,” a police news release said, “and that McClain took the gun away from his head, held it next to his ear and fired it.”…This is the second time this year McClain has been present when gunshots were fired in Decatur. In January, police found a slug in the rear door of a Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving. McClain told police someone in a group on a street corner shot at the vehicle. McClain was not at Wednesday’s Raiders practice, but no one raised any eyebrows because he has routinely missed Wednesday practices to rest a bad ankle. Thursday, after practice, Raiders coach Hue Jackson said McClain was given permission to attend his grandfather’s funeral.
