WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE NOW??????

On his Rick Ross-assisted song “Free Spirit,” Drake rhymed, “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real.” And last week, a young lady in Los Angeles proved to Drizzy—and the Internet—just how real it was, in a viral photo of herself, with shaved eyebows and the word “DRAKE” boldly tattooed across her forehead. VICE magazine caught up with Kevin Campbell, the tattoo artist at LA shop Will Rise, who penned the work on her forehead. “She was really psyched about it. She had the sh—y font all picked out on her iPhone ready to go and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead. She didn’t say a word about what it meant to her,” Campbell recalled. “…She acted as if she had planned it out for a while; though I’m not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead.” Despite the woman’s initial excitement, Campbell said “her attitude changed pretty drastically” once the tattoo was complete. Campbell, who had previously worked at a tattoo parlor in the center of Harbor City (well-populated by gangs), didn’t know of Drake’s music and figured this was a gang-related tat. He insists that he every time a customer wants an outrageous tattoo, he warns them of potential consequences and asks three times if he/she thinks it’s a good idea. After that, it’s the customer’s decision–and Campbell plans to follow through when the woman comes back to fill in the rest of her “DRAKE” tattoo. “In my opinion this whole world’s going to sh–, and sh– rolls downhill,” Campbell laments. “So I might as well just jump in, hold my breath, and pray to God that there’s a nice big soft puddle of diarrhea for me to land in once everything hits the fan.”
