Acura and Marvel Entertainment have entered into a promotional partnership centered around the upcoming Avengers movie, in which Tony Stark will drive this Acura NSX roadster created specifically for the film. Following Acura’s integration within last year’s Thor, the Japanese automaker is poised to become the official vehicle of S.H.I.E.L.D., the international peacekeeping agency from the Marvel Universe. Throughout the Avengers film, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will be seen behind the wheel of various Acura models. But for those hoping that Tony Stark’s ride augurs the imminent reappearance of the NSX in Acura showrooms, Acura says they’ll have to wait at least until 2015.
