SHOEZEUM REOPENS IN DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS WITH 2,500 NIKE
There are shoe collections, and then there is what Jordan Geller, owner of the ShoeZeum, has. With over 2,500 shoes in his collection, Jordan clearly has more of a museum than a collection. First reveled to the sneaker culture over a year ago, the ShoeZeum has moved from its San Diego headquarters to a shiny new home at Downtown Neonopolis in Las Vegas. The new 7,500 square-foot space houses so many original and super sought ofter kicks, that this could quite literally be the holy grail of sneakers. The ShoeZeum is open from 4 p.m. to midnight daily and cost $10 for admission.
HIALEAH DRIVERS ARE #4 ON THE LIST OF THE COUNTRY’S WORST DRIVERS
Sometimes Miami shows up on city rankings in spots that sort of irk us. Other times our rankings are pleasantly surprising. And occasionally we get ranked in a spot that makes us think, Yeah, that is totally accurate.
So, we’re not exactly surprised that not one, but two Miami-Dade cities sit in the top of Allstate Insurance’s cities with the worst drivers list.
The insurance giant studied the insurance claim frequency of America’s 200 biggest cities. The average American wrecks their care about once every ten years, but in some cities that frequency is a lot higher.
Hialeah came in fourth overall. Drivers there were 77.6 percent more likely to get into a car accident than the average American. Hialeah residents go about 5.9 years between car crashes.
The City of Miami came in ninth. Miami Drivers are 58.4 percent more likely to crash. Miamians go about 6.4 years between car crashes.
If you’re hoping to avoid the worst drivers, do not to go to Washington D.C., which is apparently America’s bad driving capital. Sioux Falls, South Dakota, meanwhile has America’s best drivers.

Mario Chalmers Is One Cocky Motherfucker And That's Why I Love Him... Says I'm 'Front End Of The Top 10' Point Guards
MIAMI— There is no place in sports quite like the intersection of ego and Chalmers. It is what makes the Heat point guard deliciously refreshing.
Then again, it takes quite the gumption to go back at LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in the face of criticism, moments that Mario Chalmers hardly has shied from amid the Heat's Big Three era.
So it hardly comes as a surprise, in the wake of the recent debate over Rajon Rondo putting himself at the head of the class of NBA point guards, that Chalmers stuck his nose into the conversation.
As in putting himself among, well, the top five.
It came out in a Bleacher Report interview at a recent Chalmers promotional event in Brooklyn.
Q: Rajon Rondo recently said that he's the NBA’s top point guard. What are your thoughts on that, and where do you think you rank among all the point guards in the NBA?
Chalmers: "He's not the best, but he's in the top five. There are a lot of great point guards in the league, Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Steve Nash. There are a lot of great guards in the NBA so for him to say he's the best is a pretty bold statement. I'd say that I am in the front end of the top 10."
It is pure Mario, from the heart, from that special place that allows him to step up to the moment.
And yet his place among the league's point guards remains a tricky proposition, since he hardly plays as a traditional point guard.
As a talking point, this is a list, compiled in this blog on Feb. 29, rating the league's point guards at the time, a leap-day leap of faith that such a compilation is even possible.
Clearly, with a championship ring, Chalmers has moved himself up the list, reasonably within the top half.
But how far?
What we ran Feb. 29 in this space:
1. Derrick Rose, Bulls
2. Chris Paul, Clippers
3. Deron Williams, Nets
4. Russell Westbrook, Thunder
5. Rajon Rondo, Celtics
6. Tony Parker, Spurs
7. Steve Nash, Suns

Jay-Z's Made In America Music Festival Will Be Streamed Live On Youtube & Pandora This Weekend
Jay-Z and Budweiser have teamed up for the inaugural “Made in America” music festival taking place this weekend (September 1 and 2) in Philadelphia. Thanks to a deal with Youtube and Pandora fans who can't make it to The City of Brotherly Love to witness the event in person will still be able to watch it via live stream.
For Budweiser, it was important to make sure the event was accessible to all fans — not just those that could attend in person. That’s why the brand made the decision to work with both YouTube and Pandora to bring the live stream to all fans.
While streaming live events is old hat for YouTube, this is a first for Pandora. Budweiser Made in America marks the first time Pandora has ever live streamed an event.
Even better, Pandora isn’t just streaming the event from its website — fans can tune in with the Pandora mobile app. “It was important that we reach fans wherever they might be,” Rob McCarthy, vice president of Budweiser told us. “Our goal is to reach as broad of an audience as possible.”
The festival will be streamed to the two services from 2pm – 11pm on Saturday and Sunday. Fans can access the YouTube stream at YouTube.com/BudMadeinAmerica and listen to the Pandora stream at Pandora.com/BudMadeInAmerica.
YouTube clips from the festival will remain available for 30 days after the event.
Acts scheduled to play at the event include Jay-Z, Skrillex, Wale, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, D'Angelo, Pearl Jam, Jill Scott, RUN DMC, Odd Future, Rita Ora and more.

WATCH THE ALTERNATE OPENING SCENE OF THE AVENGERS
This version opens 48 hours after the Avengers save New York City from an alien attack. In it, Agent Maria Hill is being interrogated regarding events that brought a city to its knees, with all-too-brief cameos from Captain America and the Hulk. It’s a pretty solemn opening, and we can see why it wasn’t used, though along with the short Item 47 it at least gives us a taste of how New York City carried on in the days following the attack.
Walking Dead’s’ Hershel Greene Arrested for DWI, Blames It On Slanted Road
An actor on the popular Georgia-filmed TV series 'The Walking Dead' faces driving under the influence charges in Peachtree City.
Scott Wilson, 70, who plays the role of alcoholic farmer Hershel Greene on the zombie series, was pulled over by Peachtree City police at 2 a.m. on Aug. 18, according to an incident report.
The arresting officer said an anonymous tipster reported a possible impaired driver on Ga. 74 (Joel Cowan Parkway) near BSC Fields, the city baseball and soccer athletic complex.
The officer said he observed Wilson driving a black PT Cruiser northbound on Ga. 74 at about 70 miles per hour, which he wrote is "well above the posted speed limit."
Wilson's vehicle "swerved back and forth" several times in the vicinity of Dividend Drive, the officer wrote.
After being pulled over, Wilson said the vehicle was his sister's and he'd consumed scotch and wine while dining at Founders Restaurant & Bar in Senoia.
The officer reported Wilson initially said his last name was Miller, but later said Miller was his mother's maiden name.
After failing field sobriety tests, Wilson complained the roadway was too "slanted" and asked the officer if he could instead perform some "yoga moves."
A breathalyzer test at the scene returned a result of 0.143, above the legal limit of 0.08.
Tests while being booked at the Fayette jail returned results of 0.151 and 0.155, the officer wrote.
Wilson, born in Atlanta, has appeared in more than 50 films since his career began in the 1960s, including "In The Heat of the Night" (1967), "In Cold Blood" (1967), and "The Great Gatsby" (1974).
