In what he's saying was his last Olympics, Kobe Bryant helped Team USA make good on their bid to repeat as gold medalists. Now, Nike celebrates with a planned release of the Kobe VII in an all-new "Gold Medal" colorway.
The "Gold Medal" Kobe VII sports a white polyurethane base, helped by obsidian on the tongue, laces, inner lining and heel counter. Red works the Flywire threading and tongue lining, while metallic gold fills in the Swooshes and Kobe logo on the tongue. White and obsidian share the midsole and sit atop a red rubber outsole to complete the look.
