Jay-Z’s Big Barclays Center Debut
Jay-Z ushers in the new Barclays Center in true Brooklyn fashion by bringing out the legendary Big Daddy Kane for a special live performance. He also delivered a speech, debuted a new verse, a freestyle and paid tribute to his fallen comrade, Hip Hop icon, The Notorious B.I.G
Rick Ross & Gunplay Vs. Young Jeezy & 50 Cent Huge Fight @ BET Hip Hop Awards, Shots Fired
It seems that the show might get overshadowed by a brawl that allegedly happened between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy. The two of them exchanged words backstage and started pushing and shoving each other. The fight then went outside where gun shots were heard.
Young Jeezy and Rick Ross went down backstage last night during the taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards show in Atlanta.
Despite initial reports of gunfire outside the venue, TMZ is reporting that Atlanta police say that didn't happen although a fight did take place in the parking lot. Police used pepper spray to break up the brawl. 50 Cent got into it with a rapper named Gunplay, a protégé of Rick Ross.

The rumors were true, 50 Cent and Fat Joe are about to take the stage together to perform a special tribute to Chris Lighty at this year's edition of the BET Hip-hop Awards.

FML Anne Hathaway Marries Adam Shulman In Private California Coast Ceremony
Anne Hathaway married fiance Adam Shulman on Saturday night, a ceremony that took place in Big Sure on the California coast.
The large ceremony included more than 100 guests who were also treated to a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa on Friday night. The wedding ceremony took place took place at a secured private estate. According to Celebuzz more than 180 guests were taken to the venue from their hotel via shuttles.
Anne Hathaway wore a custom Valentino wedding dress, a gown that was confirmed by the fame designer last week.
According to a source at PEOPLE:
“The wedding décor was inspired by nature, with many branches used to create a ceremony and reception to blend in with the majestic Big Sur surroundings.”
Hathaway and Shulman have been together for the last four years, announcing their plans to wed last November. At the time of announcing their plans to get married Hathaway proclaimed:
“I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!”
Celebrating with plenty of their friends is nothing new for the couple, in February they held an engagement party in New York with 125 friends and family members.
In the meantime congratulations to the happy couple who finally managed to tie the knot after four years.

The Dark Knight Rises' out on Blu-ray, DVD on Dec. 4
Holy smokes, Batman. The rumors, speculation and general chit-chat can be put to rest.
Christopher Nolan’s Batman epic The Dark Knight Rises will be released on Blu-ray combo pack, DVD, and digital download on Dec. 4, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group announced exclusively to EW.
The last film in Nolan’s dark, gritty Gotham City trilogy, starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Hardy as brutal villain Bane, will also be available in a limited edition Blu-ray Bat Cowl collectible package — not quite in time for your Halloween costume, but there’s always next year.
The Blu-ray combo pack is stuffed with a bunch of extras, from a documentary about the Batmobile, where all five Batmobiles are together for the first time, to Ending the Knight, an in-depth look featuring about 17 featurettes at how Nolan and his production team made The Dark Knight Rises, from Batman vs. Bane to totally demolishing a city street. Both the Blu-ray and DVD include a featurette called The Journey of Bruce Wayne. There are also trailers and art galleries.

Kevin Garnett Doesn’t Talk to Ray Allen Anymore
Kevin Garnett is arguably the NBA’s most passionate player; and when former teammate Ray Allen left this summer for Celtics’ sworn rival, the Miami Heat, Garnett somehow “lost” Ray Allen’s phone number.
When asked at the Boston Celtics practice on Friday, KG said, ”I don’t have Ray’s number anymore. I’m not trying to communicate. I’m just being honest with everybody in here. It’s not that I wish him less than [anything] or whatever. That’s just what it is.”
Garnett and Allen played five seasons together in Boston and won their first title together during the 2008 season. Garnett is obviously displeased with Allen’s choice to leave the Celtics to join the Heat, but it does not extend off the court. ”When a guy makes a decision based on him and his family, you can’t ever get upset with that,” Garnett said. “My personal feelings, I won’t put into it. The only thing I’ll say is, I wish Ray the best. That’s where it’s at.”
Why KG chose not to speak with Allen was not confirmed, however, he states that personal choices were the reasoning, “I choose not to,” Garnett said. “That’s a choice I, personally, made. I’m very close to Ray. I know his family. I wish nothing but the best for he and his family. I’m just making a choice of my own, that’s all.”
It is no secret KG leaves his heart and soul on the court when he plays and not that he needs any more fuel for his fire, but I’m sure he will come out with a little something extra when the two teams face each other for the first time.
The two teams are set to meet in the first regular season game of the 2012-13 season on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 8:00 p.m. in Miami.
Falcons S Thomas DeCoud Executes “Meow” Game to Perfection on SportsCenter
Yesterday, on SportsCenter, Atlanta Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud decided to have a little fun during his phone interview with ESPN. He played the “meow” game and executed it so well, I didn’t pick up on it until halfway through the interview.
If you don’t know what the “meow” game is, go watch Super Troopers.
DeCoud manages to pull off an incredible 13 “meows.” Rumor has it he was only shooting for twelve. See if you can count them all. I have them at the 0:39, 0:40, 0:46, 1:10, 1:32, 2:02, 2:23, 2:47, 2:48, 2:49, 2:50, 3:02 and 3:44 marks. The rapid fire sequence between 2:47-2:51 was an incredible display of poise and execution.

Chick Forgets To Make Birthday Party Facebook Invite Private – Starts 5,000 Person Project X Style Riot
The schoolgirl had only planned a quiet celebration with a small group of friends to celebrate her 16th birthday party. When Merthe Weusthuis organised the gathering at her family home, she sent out invitations via the Facebook social networking site. But she made one mistake – she forgot to mark the event as “private”. As details began to circulate, a trickle of acceptances became a flood – and on Friday night the event turned into a large-scale disturbance as 5,000 gatecrashers clashed with riot police outside the Weusthuis family home, on a quite suburban street in a small Dutch town. This was not how it was supposed to be.
An unauthorised campaign was launched to promote the birthday party, reaching high levels of sophistication with the setting-up of a website, as well as a Twitter account which received hundreds of thousands of hits. Over the following days the party become known as “Project X Haren” – inspired by the film “Project X”, released this year, in which three high school students throw a birthday party which spirals out of control.

Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans is having a ridiculous bad season, and fantasy owners across the world are very unhappy. Johnson has an anemic 45 yards on 33 carries and zero touchdowns. For those of you who aren’t numbers inclined, that is a whopping 1.4 yards per carry average. That is quite the change from the 2009 season where he rushed for over 2,000 yards and 14 TD’s. Good News Scientists Find A Way For You To Live Longer, Bad News It’s Cutting Your Balls Off
Scientists have found a sure-fire way for men to live longer - but most red-blooded males will find the method unpalatably painful.
Researchers in Korea have shown that eunuchs - castrated men living centuries ago - outlived other men by a significant margin.
They say their findings suggest that male sex hormones are responsible for shortening the lives of men.
The evidence comes after careful study of genealogy records of noble members of the Imperial court of the Korean Chosun dynasty (AD 1392-1910). Kyung-Jin Min, of Inha University, said: 'This discovery adds an important clue for understanding why there is a difference in the expected life span between men and women.' The castrated boys in Korea lost their reproductive organs in accidents - usually after being bitten by dogs - or underwent castration purposefully to gain early access to the palace. Eunuchs were allowed to marry and had families by adopting castrated boys or normal girls. People in those days kept careful genealogy records as proof that they were of the noble class.
By poring over those records, Min and his colleague Cheol-Koo Lee, of Korea University, found that eunuchs lived 14 to 19 years longer than other men did. Amongst the 81 eunuchs they studied, three lived to the ripe old age of 100 or more, a feat of longevity that remains relatively rare even in developed countries today. They noted the incidence of centenarians among Korean eunuchs is at least 130 times greater than it is in the developed countries, and that can’t be explained simply by the benefits of life in the palace, either.
They said most eunuchs spent as much time outside the palace as they did inside it.
And, in fact, kings and male members of the royal family had the shortest lives of all, typically surviving only to their mid-forties. The research team, whose findings were published in the journal Current Biology, said their findings may offer some clues to life extension.
