NFL To Drop Pro Bowl???

Looks like there may be some bad news on the horizon for fans of the NFL’s Pro Bowl. During an appearance on NFL Radio last night, commissioner Roger Goodell dropped the bombshell that if the level of playing doesn’t ship up, they’re shipping out.

Agreeing with the show’s host Michael Strahan, Goodell admitted that last January’s Pro Bowl “was embarrassing,” adding, “If we cannot accomplish that kind of standard (of high play), I am inclined to not play it.”

To keep the tradition somewhat alive, however, the league would still select a Pro Bowl team through voting by players, coaches and fans, but “just not play the game.” Would you miss it if it left?
