After much speculation this off-season as to which powerhouse footwear brand Oklahoma City’s dynamic point guard, Russell Westbrook would sign to, we finally have confirmation that he’ll become the newest Jordan Brand athlete. Following Russell’s long stand as Nike’s poster child for the Hyperfuse line ended, rumors began to circulate that adidas and Jordan Brand were the two front runners pushing to ink a deal with the two-time All-star. “We are very excited to welcome Russell to the Jordan family,” said Michael Jordan. “Russell’s style, both on and off the court, combined with his love and dedication to the game make him a perfect fit for the Jordan Brand.
