Red bottoms? Got em. The 1996 World Series saw the New York Yankees take a 4-2 win over the Atlanta Braves. At the time Atlanta had the proud distinction of hosting the Olympics and the World Series in the same year. Unfortunately, they didn't take home the prize. This series was a fitted first. For the first time on-field fitted baseball caps featured a World Series patch on the side panels.
