After five years of dating, actress Elisha Cuthbert has tied the knot with hockey defenseman Dion Phaneuf.

The 30-year-old Happy Endings star married her 28-year-old Toronto Maple Leafs beau on Saturday in the couple's homeland, Canada.

The wedding took place at St. James Catholic Church in Summerfield, located on Prince Edward Island in Canada, according to Us Weekly.

The reception reportedly took place at a large waterfront estate owned by Dion, who captains the Maple Leafs.
Elisha has gushed about the peaceful nature of the location previously, as it seems the happy couple have spent plenty of time their in past years.
The Love, Actually star told the National Post: 'It’s such a quiet place that we can be ourselves and not get bothered too much and have a real summer away from the hustle and bustle of our lives.'

The wedding date came less than a year after Dion proposed to Elisha at a Prince Edward Island lobster restaurant.
The Canadian actress excitedly expressed her delight to her Twitter followers, writing: 'Happily, happily, happily, happily engaged!'
She added: 'This has been the most amazing weekend ever.'

Elisha recently concluded the third and final season playing Alex Kerkovich in ABC's Happy Endings.
The comedy series was cancelled in May of this year, but it surely gave the actress plenty of time to focus on wedding planning.
