Miami Heat’s Birdman Lands New House in Pinecrest!

VIA: Gossipextra.com Miami Heat star Chris “Birdman” Andersen, who signed a 2-year, $2.8 million-deal with the team over the summer, spent some of his cash this month.

He became a Miami-Dade County homeowner Oct. 4.

It’s another Gossip Extra exclusive: The tatted out Andersen, 35, plunked down $1.89 million for a five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion in the Collins Acres area of Pinecrest, a fancy suburb of Miami that’s already home to troubled NBA star Lamar Odom.

Odom’s digs are about 20 blocks away!

While the purchase has yet to be posted on county records, Andersen obtained a $417,000-mortgage on the day the house he used in collateral at 5826 SW 107th Street was sold. (Click on the video below to visit!)

The one-acre property includes a lighted tennis court, heated free-form pool, separate guest house.

The main house, 7,505 square feet with marble floors throughout, includes a large living room, super-sized family room with a fireplace, a well-equipped entertaining sized kitchen, and a master-suite with enough room for a gym.

Nicknamed Birdman because of some of his tattoos and his on-the-court celebration that imitates a soaring bird, Andersen arrived last year while under investigation for trolling the Internet for underage girls.

Andersen, however, became an instant fan favorite with heads-up plays off the bench and sparked the Heat in key moments during the playoffs.

Authorities in Denver, where he played last year, announced this summer he would not be charged criminally because it was likely a case of mistaken identity.

Neither Andersen’s lawyer nor his Realtor commented.

Said Brian Shapiro Forster, the listing agent: “Pinecrest is a perfect place for Birdman. Where else could he get an acre with a lot of privacy and with a lit tennis court that he can make into a full-sized basketball court?”
