50 Cent Fight Rapper Confronts Steve Stoute at Knicks Game

VIA: Rapper 50 Cent confronted his longtime adversary Steve Stoute at a recent New York Knicks game.

Stoute has made disparaging comments about the rapper’s career lately while promoting his own documentary Tanning of America, which explores the influence of hip-hop in mainstream culture.

“Are you going to have 50 Cent up here soon? You got to. He got out of his record deal,” Stoute said on Hot 97′s The Angie Martinez Show. “He’s not [in my top five influential rapper list]. He hasn’t had a hit in a really long time. He has not made anything musically that’s changed anything in a very long time. I feel like he’s always gearing up for something that never happens. Hopefully, now that he’s independent, and there’s no record company to blame, his aggressive content, [laughs], can get onto the air. I don’t know. I think he’s trying to get back.”

Stoute also discussed what he says is his helping 50 Cent’s Fif G-Unit sneaker collaboration with Reebok. He told The Breakfast Club that 50 Cent is not grateful for his help.

“50 Cent never thanked me for that. The guy made so much money off of that, and the guy never thanked me,” Stoute said. “He walks around and says he can’t stand me. I don’t think he can stand anybody. I don’t know who he likes, but he definitely doesn’t like me. I gave him his first deal, gave him the sneaker deal. I don’t know. He just don’t like me.”

Photos were published online and shared on social media websites of 50 Cent getting in Stoute’s face at the Knicks game, but it isn’t clear what exactly the pair were saying to each other.

The history between the pair dates back to when 50 Cent was signed with Sony Records. Stoute headed up the Urban department back then, reported Sports World News.

However, after 50 Cent was shot nine times, Stoute dropped the rapper.

Stoute takes credit for making Nas, a fellow Queens rapper with whom 50 Cent has had problems with in the past, an international star.
