Brazilian soccer star Neymar surprised a tiny fan who ran onto the field after a friendly match yesterday with South Africa in Soweto.
When officials closed in on the boy, the Brazilian striker — considered a soccer God by fans around the world — scooped up the delighted invader and took him to his Brazilian teammates who hoisted the boy into the air as part of Brazil’s 5-0 win.
The team also took photos with their pint-sized fan, who beamed a proud toothless grin. The moment was captured on a heartwarming YouTube video as well as by professional photographers and Brazilian players on their phones.
