VIA: Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg suspects that Jay Z's reason for hanging with Kanye West has much more to to with business than friendship. This morning on "The Realness," Peter explained why he feels Hov needs Yeezy to stay relevant.
"Jay Z is hanging on to his little brother's coattails," Peter said. "What's really happening with Jay Z? Hov's hot...He aight I guess. But Kanye's ish is more john blaze. Here's my point. Kanye does a song with Coldplay. Here comes Hova doing a song with Coldplay. Kanye does a song with Daft Punk. Now what do we find? Jay Z went and did a song with Daft Punk. And may I ask you a question. Riddle me this, hip hop. What are Jay Z's best songs over the last five years? What do they have in common? Could it be Kanye West? That's right, big brother is hanging on the coattails of the little brother."
