Amy Adams Gave Up Her First Class Seat To A Soldier That Was On Her Flight And Sat In Coach
Daily Mail- Actress Amy Adams traded her first class seat on a Detroit to Los Angeles flight with a soldier who had been booked in coach. Adams reportedly noticed the American serviceman at the gate and quietly asked to switch seats with him. The five-time Academy Award nominee has often spoke glowingly of her father’s time in the military and of growing up on bases in both Italy and U.S. She then had a brief chat with the soldier near the cockpit and scurried to her seat in coach before many people noticed what had happened, according to ESPN host Jemele Hill, who witnessed the switch. ‘I noticed Ms. Adams was in first class and as I was getting seated, I saw the flight attendant guide the soldier to Ms. Adams’ seat,’ Hill told ABC News. ‘She was no longer in it, but it was pretty clear that she’d given up her seat for him,’ ’Ms. Adams did it so quietly and quickly that it speaks to her character,’ Hill added.
