Milk With What Appears To Be Cock And Balls On The Carton Have People Upset
WITH thousands of products battling for your attention at every turn, supermarkets go to great lengths to capture your attention while you’re walking the aisles. The warring big four of Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons have even employed psychologists in the battle to fill the most trolleys and grab the biggest share of the £160million spent on food in Britain every day. So, if we’re the human version of lab rats wandering around in a supermarket-sized experiment, what does this Tesco Buttermilk packaging say about us our thought process? Snapped by a shopper in Terenure, Dublin, the carton has more than a hint of male genitalia about it. And whether that’s quite the image customers want when scanning the shelves for milk is up for debate.
Giants Honor Robin Williams Before Game 5 Of World Series
Prior to Sunday’s pivotal Game 5 of the World Series, the San Francisco Giants paid tribute to the late Robin Williams, a longtime fan and Bay Area native. As part of the touching tribute, AT&T Park played clips of Williams’ work on the jumbotron in center field before the game, including this clip of the comedian rallying the home crowd during the NLDS in 2010.
The team also invited Williams’ children – Zak, Zelda and Cody – to throw out the first pitch alongside family friend Billy Crystal.
It was a pretty great tribute and gesture by the Giants, who went on to win 5-0 and move within one game of another World Series title.
