VIA: A few weeks back, Jay Z’s company acquired TIDAL streaming service for a cool $56 million. While it was initially thought he’d be announcing the purchase of Tupac’s catalog today, it’s becoming more apparent that this announcement will have to do with the launch of his streaming service, as there’s a countdown on the website set for 5 EST.
The streaming is expected to allow users to stream hi-fi audio for $19.99, with lower fidelity files going for $9.99. The site also mentions options for video streaming.
