VIA: The first trailer for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad was shown at San Diego Comic-Con today, and you can view the low quality version above. We’ll update with a better version when it’s available.
The trailer opens with Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, explaining who the Suicide Squad are (“Let’s just say I put them in a hole and threw away the hole.”) and their purpose (do the dirty work and take the blame). Then we see various shots of several characters:

Will Smith as Deadshot
Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn
Adam Beach as Slipknot
Karen Fukuhara playing Katana
Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang
Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc
Jay Hernandez as El Diablo
And, of course, we get our best idea yet of Jared Leto’s version of the Joker. Guess all the method acting paid off? But let’s be real, we’re all watching this for the funny Harley Quinn moments, right?
